2800CS video - Costa Mesa

I read this article, different site. BMW Blog includes what I imply to be the original car. Did Bob's Polaris start out as the red car above? If so, it could have been a bad ad. If not, it could be a bad image in the article. USA Today didn't include the Verona pic.
