You're in Australia, which I assume you're looking someone local for an alternator???

There's a thread here where you can use an E12/E24 alternator if you can't find an E9 alt. Also a more common GM one too.

I brought mine to a local company who restores alternators. They put a heavier type in the original housing. Maybe find a local store who does the same.

E12 uses a different mounting bracket and bolts, rebuild yours.
