Ok you can laugh at me.
Do we really need to run the heater hose through the bottom of the intakes on dual carb setup?

I guess it's supposed to heat up the plenums in order to give the air/fuel mixture a more efficient transport and burn.

We used to run fuel through a canister with coiled fuel line inside and ice to condense fuel for more delivery.

It is to stop the intake system from icing up in colder areas If you are in warm weather most of the time, no, you could bypass them but you still need the coolant to flow through something and it is probably just as easy to do it thru the manifolds

Thanks, Rick
