I just had to find one for my car. Eventually got a second hand AAV and now the car runs as it should.

I too am working out how to dismantle and reassemble one and have one on my bench right now, will let you know if I am successful.
However, if I knew that you were able to do it I would have come straight to you and avoided the hassle.

Keep up offering things like this.
Regards

You would go down in Coupe history if you could figure out, and show us, how the airslide can be taken apart. I couldn't figure it out. Hope you are successful.

Had my core rebuilt by Don and is now reinstalled back in the vehicle and working perfectly.
An excellent service with excellent results.

Thanks again Don

Thanks for the business and kind remarks.....
As our Southern friend says- what a great forum!

Heads up for DYI friends trying to do this at home- wear goggles and be ready to vacate your workspace.
When it blows it is explosive and bits fly out at 300-400+ degrees F. It can get you in the eye and smoke is intense.
Be very careful.
