Thank you, but I know there are several cams to buy.
I was thinking of get a special grind of my own.
A while ago I had email contact with him about this but he seams to have ended his project.

Couldnt someone talk one of Paul’s good designs, map the profile and have a new one custom ground to match? If authorized, any shop that's done a motor with Burke cam and pistons could have these replicated by one of the big cam and piston places. Norris used to do stuff like that ... for a price (are they still around?).

Regrinds of high lift, long duration cams aren’t for everyone.
New cam stocks are crazy hard to find.

Thanks for the answers.
I´m looking into building an high rev M30 just to see what it takes. :)
Short stroke, big bore and as light parts as possible, aiming 8k rpm maybe more if possible.

Sounds like you want a full race motor with MTBR measured in tens of hours. You are in Europe so maybe you should call shops which check support vintage race CSL’s and E24’s?

In order to run those rpm the motor should probably be designed from the start as a system and not a piece at a time.

I´ve got most of the parts already, just need to do some check on the crank.
M90 block, m30B25 crank, s38 rods and ITB, special pistons, alu flywheel, stand alone management and so on, just need to find a god cam.
And .... also time to make it happen, motor going into an E12 that need some fixing. :D

Beware the high lift cams on flat top m90 pistons.
Evil lurks there.......
I have a few Paul Burke cams sitting in the shop.
Fair warning- his last editions were really problematic.

What are the specs of the cams you have, do you think some may suit my purpose.
