I could use one of these if anyone has a spare...mine has gone missing.

They are still available; but I don't need a spanking new one for my old driver.

Anyone cleaning out their spare parts bin?

i bought a new one, they aren't very expensive, seems like 25 bucks or so ... and if you are ordering other things the shipping tends to be free. if you buy a used one you will probably spend 8 bucks on shipping alone

I’ll have to post a picture of my confusion. If the threaded end goes in the threaded hole in the battery tray and the adjacent sheet metal clamps the bottom of the battery against the tray, that leaves the rod sticking up with the 90 degree bend attached to what?

One step closer to Pebble Beach threaded hole in the tray was reamed out and someone had buggered up the threaded rod end so it wouldn’t go together and confused me. Popped a makeshift captive nut under the tray and chased the rod threads with a die, good to go now.
@mosearch sorry to step on your thread, I was going to send you mine because I thought it wouldn’t work with my setup. Hope you find one soon!
