paint

Thanks Michael - big help (for my other cars as well) - as you know
BMW doesn't carry the spray cans anymore and in fact some of the colors are hard to get in small bottles.

...or you can just go to your local automotive paint supply store and give them the code. Call a local body shop (of reasonable repute) and ask them where they buy their paint. They'll likely mix up a few-ounce bottle or rattle can.

The one time I ordered from Paint-Scratch, it was fine but no better than the local product.

I've got one, possibly two spray cans of Malaga from Paintscratch.com that I bought a few months ago for a project but didn't need. I'd be happy to sell you a can for less than list. Shoot me an email if you're interested.

Go to any automative paint ....

supply shop and have them put an infrared gun on your paint and they can match it perfectly. You can buy any amount of paint once its matched. If you do this, just make sure the paint is clean on a flat surface for the infrared gun to "read" your paint.
