Hello All,
I am converting a '74 coupe to a 1972 bumper. I have looked through the threads on the conversion but I can't find info on how far back the bolt holes should be through the frame rail for the bumper brackets. I'm sure someone has posted about that but I can't find it. I have noticed that there is some discussion about moving the bumpers closer to the front of the car so is there a "stock" factory starting point, or what have any of you that are doing this used as a distance from the front of the car for the mounting holes?

Thanks,

Jake

I would prioritize getting the holes in the left/right fender in the correct spot first then level everything then see where the modified brackets holes fall along the frame rails.
