Hi

Lost the 2 o rings that sit on top of the carb between it and the air cleaner and need to get some more, does anybody able to measure the size and width of the o ring. I will go to my local seal and oring shop and pick up a couple.

Thanks, Rick

You are obviously covered by MG's part number reference. That said, in a pinch, you could always try using string, twine, cord or even wire to approximate the measurement. This was once common practice in the case of finding drive belt replacements, without the benefit of extensive parts catalogs or the broken belt that was being replaced. Mercedes made use of the same carburetors, and might also be a likely source for the rings.

Thanks all but I have gotten the measurements. 4mm X 140 mm part numbers did not help, realoem does not say, workshop manuals do not give size. Yes MB uses no info there either. same carbs but no info either. Bboy dropped by with a couple that we measured.

Thanks, Rick
