clearance question

i dont have my car here so i was wondering is someone could tell me
how much clearance there is between the side of the radio and the side ac panel?
i want to set my air guage there
as i bought another set of side panels
as an alternate to cut up
know is tight - but just above the lower center screw
exploring the option
wierd option set it my extra set of side ac grills
or really ill get an extra set from markos
that may be the final solution
in which case ill have an extra set of side panels to sell

I'd say it's less than 1/2", depending on the radio. Mine's a pretty tight fit. What air pressure is the gauge reading? Manifold vacuum? What is the measurement between the gauge face and the back of the gauge, including the usual mounting screws?
