A very good friend has the subject transmission for sale and I offered to post the ad for him here. Phil Slate has owned this trans for 20 years but has never used it, it has been stored with oil and when drained recently it still looked fresh. Phil owned a 2800CS that was modified into a Bat race car known as TBL. This coupe was once owned by Phillip Porter who is very well know and this trans came with the coupe. Phil purchased his coupe in 1999 and sold it in 2009 but kept the transmission for a Bavaria project that never materialized. Phil is well known as a BMW and Porsche engine builder and is located here in Orange County. He is asking $3500 but would entertain reasonable offers.
