Hi there
I am assembling the bell housing of the 265/5 and either the clutch fork lever OR the release bearing is wrong. I am sure this is a quick question. I searched the Forum but could not find a post that was specific to the release bearing for this swap. The BMW30cs blog http://bmw30cs.blogspot.com/p/5-speed-conversion.html indicates part numbers however the part number for the release bearing does not seem specific enough (21-51-1). The release fork seems correct.

The parts I have are,
clutch release fork - https://www.iemotorsport.com/product/clutch-fork-lever-release-arm/
clutch kit including release bearing - https://www.summitracing.com/parts/luk-03-022,
and that bearing ain't not going in that hole ;)

I tend to think the correct release bearing is one with the 'plastic' housing for example, https://www.ecstuning.com/b-sachs-p...iS_00K7MwjIk6HufSBwrQvuI-mC5t9h8aApqoEALw_wcB

Thanks again for your help!

Regards,

Bill
