Yes! I think it is safe to say that Mike went down that same rabbit hole with his e9. Perfecting an e28 is a losing proposition, whereas the coupe is an investment.

I relate to the comments because I and somewhere in the depths of the rabbit hole before event beginning my restoration. The more time I spend on the forum the more obsessed I get with getting the “right” parts and restoring things the “proper” way.

The rabbit hole was very shallow with the e28, he did just fine when he sold it.
