Looks cool, WHY do people put those goofy bumper strips along the lower detail edge of our cars?? I know "it came with it" is the common answer, but you know what happens when you remove it? Most of the time that adhesive has penetrated through the finish coat(s) of paint into the primer (AARGH) and it all lifts off when you remove the strips. Additionally ...1/2 the time those strips have POP-RIVITS securing their ends.......AIEEEYEEE

An other wise presentable enough daily driver winds up needing $$$ repaint ...new trim to match the new paint ... etc etc etc .... then a "17K car" becomes 25 or more... another good example of huge cost drivers for even an otherwise well-preserved car....and that isn't even a coupe-specific cost driver!

ding..

Assume that he means the "ding strips" that never came on coupes...from the front "fender", along the door, to the rear quarter. Like the post 71 2002's had...DV
