Tech question, is the straight 6 2.0, 2.3, 2.5 and 2.8 head exhaust stud pattern the same as on an 3.0 E9 head?

2.5 & 2.8 yes, but only if are from M30 engine

The headers I'm looking at are from a E30 325i, will these fit? I know il need to alter the pipework round the steering box as long as they fit my head.
no that is an m20.
