Hello I need to raise the door on my 1966 2000cs the body shop removed the door and said they do not know how to properly adjust it . Do I loosen the screws on the door or on the pillar to raise the door it needs to go up about 1/4 inch thanks for any reply

Try to loosen the bolts on the pillar first and see if there is enough play to adjust it 1/4inch. If it already is adjusted all the way up on the pillar you can also raise it by loosening the bolts on the door, but it is more complicated.
Make sure to have somebody with you to help and hold the door while you loosen/tighten the bolts.

I made a wooden frame with a towel in it that I could put on a floor jack that would cradle the bottom of the door and keep it level and then i could jack up or down to get the position I needed.
