(Dumb) Question Re Window Top Chrome

What adhesive do you guys use to keep them from, say, falling off in the middle of traffic when you roll your window down? Just to pick a completely random example that certainly didn't happen to me this morning, nor cause me to play Frogger with early-morning commuters.

I use clear RTV trim adhesive. Try to not get any on the glass - it's kind of tough to remove.

i used "contact-impact glue", the sort of yellow thing that you have to apply to both surfaces, let dry, and join together

+1 on being very careful to avoid excess of glue falling down the glass or the corners of the molding, if so wipe it with a cloth before it dries out
