I am selling it for the same price I bought it. $700 shipped

I bought this from bmw2002faq forum member 3 years ago.

It is in very well condition and unrestored.

My high gloss darker wood trim color and this steering wheel does not match at all so I want to sell it.

It is in Massachusetts local pick ups welcome...

Dear Sir,

It appears that there is not much interest in the wheel, yet I am.
Are we able to arrive at a mutual agreeable price?

For my pocket the price is high, but of course I do not expect you to
be low balled.

I do not have a car to install it into, as already well 'wheeled' but I do collect wheels,
so potentially interested.

Thank you for your consideration.
Best regards,
Alberto

I understand your point and intension and you may think that there is not much interest. For some originality is important. I think this may be best for someone who is doing a concourse restoration.

My message with 2002faq member Todd is attached. He is a nice guy too.

I will stay firm at 700 as of now then time will tell what happens.

Seems reasonable to me. These wheels aren’t easy to restore. The veneer is paper thin, the plastic cracks, and the NLA spoke trims fall off. One would spend hundreds of dollars professionally restoring a $250 core, resulting in a wheel that looked similar to factory.

I agree, I think I may have under priced mine.
I did spend countless hours removing the old varnish, gently sanding and applying new clear epoxy.
I won't even get into the time it took to find the chrome bits...

Dear Sir,
You have most valid points, and Ok, I will purchase the wheel, $700 including shipping.
Please write me to my email and we'll arrange payment in a more personal manner.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Alberto

You wont regret it. I've restored 3 of these exact wheels and have 2 still, and none of them were as nice as this after i was done with them.
Apart from the wood and the 6 Chrome caps, also the bakelite has a tendency to crack. I've never counted less then 10 cracks.
