Ok the fan clutch of my 3.0 CSI is gone, so I need to replace it. The car has a five blades fan which has a "little" clutch (80 mm).

Now I've bought this clutch which has a 140mm diameter and, of course, it doesn't fit the actual fan. Will this clutch fit the 9 blades fan?

The problem is that I can't find any "little"clutch for sale.

Thanks

Your new clutch is a Spin On variety, only fits the lastest water pump. The earlier/middle style viscous clutch will fit early pump but as Steve says you need the nose piece to bolt to pump flange and then install your new clutch. Or rebuild the original mechanical clutch using deQ's article on refurb.

Thank you for the tips; however I've seen on RealOEM the fan clutch coupling but for what I saw I can't buy it there: is there any supplier which I can ask to?

Thanks

In order to fit that new clutch you have you need the screw on water pump part # 11519070760

So that means that I'll need:

>A new water pump (11519070760)

>A new pulley which fits it

?

Sorry I don't know about the new pulley or if the old one can be used, perhaps others can help.

Sorry, I couldn't find DeQ's fan clutch rebuild article. Anyone know where it is? DeQ? Also, is it possible for a viscous clutch that is only 16 years to stop working. Can that be fixed?
