Wondering if the forum could assist me with some input re my RHD injected CSL engine.
After years long ground up restoration, I have finally got the engine rebuilt, assembled and turning over.
However, no firing - the fuel is getting to the injectors but no further.
After time spent with oscilloscope, the problem seems to be 12V (Terminal 15) on all four injector outputs is constant (Pins 3,4,5 and 6), and stays constant 12V while cranking. I.E. No pulse.
(12V on injector plugs vs Body earth and vs other Pin on plug

Signals from Distributor on both signal lines (Pins 21 and 22) - OK
Signal from MAP sensor on both signal lines (Pins 10 and 15), resistance of both circuits in spec, - OK
12V supply (Terminal 15) from main relay on both lines (Pin 24 and Pin 16) - (~12.3v on each with Ign. On) - OK. Measured against body earth and Pin 11.
Terminal 31 (Earth) on pin 11 is OK, measured vs Pin 24 and Pin 16.
Fuel Pump signals OK, pump primes at Ign. ON, runs when cranking.
Start signal Terminal 50 - OK on Pin 18
Computer is Red Dot / 0280 001 007
We also changed the computer to another one that I have, but got the same result.
Got me puzzled. Any input would be gratefully received.

Tom.

No pulse? How do know? Did you use a noid light?

“However, no firing - the fuel is getting to the injectors but no further.”

How do you know this?

The fact is you have 12v+ and a ground connected to 6 injectors and none? are spraying gas?

Test for 12+
Test for ground
Test for fuel pressure

If the injectors have voltage and ground and fuel with pressure and aren’t spraying gas- you let them sit dry too long.

Don,
Apologies for delay in reply.
Been away for a few days.
Thanks for the input.
As of last night's efforts, engine is now running.
A bit rough but we'll get there.
Thanks again.
Tom.
