Hello to everyone,
For the better part of a year I have been trying to tackle two coupe restorations and have finally come to the realization that one of them must go. I'd started a thread a while back regarding a largely rust free polaris shell and have since decided to hang onto this in favor of offering up one very nice verona red rolling chassis instead. It is presently being worked on in an effort to get the bodywork completely finished including a fresh rustproofing and undercoat underneath.
I purchased the shell several months ago from a gentleman who had begun a complete restoration but lost interest in the project. Since that time the floorboards have been touched up, the interior has been fully blasted and seam welded with a coat of POR 15 over top and the rear seat support has been completely refabricated and reinforced in order to tighten up the body. The first layer of 3M sound, heat insulation has also been applied as you can see in the most recent pictures.
As the work is wrapping up I should be able to come up with a firm asking price but I wanted to go ahead and get some info and pictures up and try to gauge any interest. It should be ready to go in about a week or two and would love to get it on it's way to a new home soon after. In addition to the shell I have a great deal of the parts needed to get everything back to together including a full drivetrain, restored fuel tank and a nearly complete air conditioning system. If any of you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them as quickly as possible. Thanks in advance.
Andrew
