Sunroof on my Bav had been stuck since I bought it 2 years ago. I took it apart a few weeks ago and found the cables rusted in place and busted cable bracket. I was happy to find a factory wind deflector installed. It had one broken hinge and it just laid there, no spring action. Parts NLA.
Thanks to Stan, who has had the whole setup frabricated, who sold me a replacement hinge. I clean every thing and after reinstalling the springs the deflector pops up like it should.
I’ve installed a set of Volvo 240 cables and will reinstall the panel tomorrow.
