I don't suppose anyone knows, or has a picture, of how this black vinyl and headliner is meant to join together ?

On my car and others I've seen, one just overlaps the other, with no stitching or seam, which looks bad to me, I can't imagine it was intended that way ?

It always bothers me as it's just in front of my eye when driving.

Hi Damien,
It’s just like you’ve described. No stitching, just an overlap and glued together.

Yes, roll the black over and glue it (maybe clamp the seam for a neat crease) then tuck it into the windscreen rubber and the chrome strip for a neat finished look. I'll be doing the same thing in a week or so when my headliner material comes in from CA- USA
