Hello, is there a definitive source to figure out what the original color is for my '74 3.0cs? The doors, under the panels are silver. The jams are dark blue....the spare tire holder is red, radiator support and area where the wiper motor is, is silver underneath peeling black paint.

Is there a source for figuring out what the original color is? Previous owner is not available to ask.

Thanks

Assume color plate near front right shock tower is missing? I think pulling one of the back seats is easy to do and that should reveal original color.

Left door jamb, badge (if still there)
above the door switch reads "Kunstarzlack," paint code stamped there. Mine is 025 (metallic red.)

Send your VIN to [email protected]

Inform them that it is your car. Wait about two days for them to return the model, build date, destination, and paint color.

Thanks everyone! Yes, there is no color plate. I'll send the email and see what I get back.
