I'm sitting in my office staring at a beautiful sunny day over the bay here in San Francisco. And staring at weather.com which tells me we will have a sunny rest of the weekend.

Given this weekend is probably too soon, anyone want to suggest a time and route? I will be in Italy May 10-20 but am otherwise available.
 
I'm ready. I've driven my car every sunny day I could and feel good enough about it to go. We should wait til Barry gets his car back though..

Barry, if you're around this weekend you can grab the subframe and light cover. Call me Saturday...
 
To put a stake in the ground, how about next Saturday April 21?

Also, I'm headed out to drive up the 1 for a bit in Marin, so if anyone is around I'll see you up there.
 
I suggested Saturday since that's the last one I can do for a month or so. While we work out timing (and trying not to let the perfect be the enemy of the good - if I can't make it other folks should go while it's nice and take pics), here's some pics from up near Mt. Tam earlier today, starring my copilot.

Cool air dam. Where is it from?

My weekend schedule is toast until March. :-(

Was at Thunderhill today watching the NASA guys (was Coupeless in the DD). A newer Maserati coupe was neat to watch getting hustled around. Sounded great. Tons of E30s and Miatas. A white 635 CSI was trolling the paddock when we got there.

Maybe a HPDE track day with a Coupe group (& early 6ers?) is in the future ;-)

Rally on fellas!
 
Is this a go? Just got a call from the shipping company, eta on the covered carrier is 10pm tonight!
 
Bay Area 02 Show

I am planning to go the this event, tomorrow 5/5/2012 in my Verona coupe. I have gone several times and there are usually several e9's and Bav's and typically thirty 2002's. It is informal and fun in a nice setting. No need for reservation, just show up (9:00 if you want to display your car, 10:00 or after if not. In Brisbane Marina just south of San Francisco). Hope to see some of you there. Last year I talked until mid-afternoon and forgot to have lunch!
