Factory ad based on the contact info. Doesn’t hurt that this is the issue of Auto Motor und Sport that pitted the Alpina CSL against all rivals.

Cool, thanks for sharing

Here is an article I dug up while researching Alpina with some great interior shots.

I actually planned to create a thread solely dedicated to vintage alpina cs/csl information and documentation that I have come accross, and hoped others would contribute to. @Markos what do you think about renaming this thread and dedicating it to such historic documentation?

There are many things scattered around the internet, and many out of date/lost images.
It would be great to stocktake and create one resource for all things Alpina..

Done!

Those are some of the clearest pics I’ve seen.

That four spoke Alpina wheel is rather rare. Interestingly enough it was on the cover of the BMW accessories catalog but never offered by BMW.

Randomness. I’ll organize later

Note: Early Alpina horn button

Note: This is the early generation alpina plenum made from stamped steel. Also note that Alpina used a black 36ah battery.

Note: Alpina founder Burchard B. Note the four spoke steering wheel. Note the white shift knob. @BMW Pete Finally just scored one of these, which speaks to the rarity. @Keshav has one in his CSL. Not sure if original or reproduced.

Note: Specs from the vendor bake off. Same ‘72 issue as the first ad posted. Pictures of vehicles below and by @JamesE30.

Same magazine demo car used for vendor display. Note that the B2S did not have vent holes in the spoiler as seen on later Alpina converted e9’s.

Note: This Alpina Steering wheel is special. All other Alpinas have two spoke holes at 10pm and 2pm. This has 3. It is at lest a 380mm but possibly a 400mm.

Note: This steering wheel was found in the Gen1 CSL brochure. Note the atypical dish. Alpina logo is blacked out and you can make out that edit.

Also note the 3pc alpina snowflake wheels. as posted below by @JamesE30. These wheels have alternating closed/open spikes, and were painted all black (no machined face).
Not an Alpina fact, but the Scheels are early 100’s. @JohnP_02 has one of these fine seats.

For context, this is the production 380mm Alpina used on the carb CSL and some 2275 cars. As seen in the CSL supplement. Note the “droopy hub” based on the prototipo S.

I’ve never seen such a tall shift lever as in the pic in post #2. It looks like an NK lever as they were used in the NK sedans as you sat higher in the seats.

WHEELS...

Curious about the early ALPINA wheel in the trunk of KF SC3 in the first pics, I did some more digging.
Found these pics here: https://forum.bmw-02-club.de/index.php?topic=90623.0
