Strange as it’s a 73 with earlier bumpers, the paint looks more grey than Polaris and check out the seat track, looks very strange. Also looks like basketweave vinyl seats.

    '73 with '72 bumpers?
(EDIT: Chris beat me to it... of course.)

Besides the fact that there is a photocopy of a dealer paper with someone named Hugh M Hefner, what makes this one worth being "in a museum"?

And Barbi Benton knew how to drive a manual? Good for her if yes. I guess in the early seventies it wasn't as uncommon as it would now be.

Pretty sure I saw up close this car several years ago, much better in pictures, lots of typical hidden issues

But the stains on the seats are great conversation pieces!

I thought that those were the typical Hefner “hidden issues” that @Sooner was referring to.

Seats look fine but the hood picture makes me think he sat or mounted one too many chic's there.. Perhaps its just the reflection..

Looks like mine, with the license plate lights on the body and the bumper.

rear bumper is a 72 but the front might be a 73. Look at the ends where they attach to the fenders.
    No?

The paint does look more like the single stage grey. I have seen that color only once. As likely as not, car was tapped in the rear and and the bumper replaced with a more available 72 or older bumper, hence the redundant license plate lights?

    Stan,

If Barbi was driving, I can't imagine that anyone would 'tap her in the rear end' HA.
