Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can get hydraulic seals for the brake servos. I'm after UK or European based suppliers firstly but would consider US suppliers if need be.

I've had a look at a few suppliers but no one seems to stock them. If that is the case what do those companies offering rebuilds use?

Anyway advice?

Thanks, M.

Thanks. My mechanic was asking as he feels they don’t need a complete rebuild and he was just after the seals.

however @deQuincey (thank you) has confirmed that ATE no longer supply the seals or membranes so looks it’s going to have to be a complete rebuild with one of these specialists.

Thanks the responses all.

I've been looking into this too.

Nelson in Cornwall (01840 213711) have been able to supply 3 of the 4 different seals (there are 2 identical ones on one of the pistons). I sent them my old seals and there were able to match most up - their part numbers are S9450, S9619 and S9429 (x2). They are literally pennies each.

The one I am struggling with is the seal at that lies at the end of the bore next to the vacuum chamber - this one is different as it has a small spiral spring in it - no doubt to improve the seal. It may be that a seal from one of the Mercedes suppliers (that supply parts for ATE servos) may be suitable but i haven't checked that out yet.

I've not tried them yet - there are a few other jobs to tackle before the CSI makes it to the top of the list!

There is a shop in White Post, VA that used to rebuild these. White Post Restorations, I think. You might try them.

Thanks, there a few places here in the UK that will rebuild but my mechanic thinks aside from the seals they’re good (hence looking for seals).

Thanks I’ll pass this info onto my mechanic. Really appreciate the details.

pirtec in the uk can supply most but not all of the seals, I bought exchange rebuilt units from Linwar in the end, such a bitch to fit and bleed and then find they are not working correctly, will hopefully be road testing it next week!!!!!

ATE still supply seals & membranes, if you make purchase via BMW you will receive ATE.
Last week i made my calipers rebuild & i had both sets of seals & membranes from ATE. Just aftermarket Frenkit pistons.
