I posted earlier about the rusted bolts, before I got at it with an angle grinder, can anyone tell me if the hinge pin can be hammered out?

for anyone searching for this info, I was able to get my hood off by removing the grilles and removing the bolts that hold the lower half of the hinge. This is WAY easier and will make it much easier to align the hood when I go to put it back on.

Don't forget to redo you hood lining if you need to. It's a lot easier when its off the car to get all that old glue off.
