lighter socket

My lighter socket has died due to rust so i'm looking to replace it. I've had a look at W&N and jaymic but niether seem to stock them. Are they still available new? If not can you replace them with one from another model or does anyone have a working one they'd like to sell?

If it's the socket that is dead rather than the lighter you are in luck, have a rummage in your local scrapyard for any 1970 - 1990's BMW, preferabley not one that was smoked in :? as the design didn't change that much.
Go for the lower performance models as they used chromed parts rather than "sporty" black
