low fuel light

I am informed the coupes and E3's both have low level fuel indicator lights. Did all models have this feature? I have never seen one actually work until perhaps last night when what appeared to be a white light momentarily flickered upon startup - after I filled the tank. Was this a dream?

Believe both models did. Can be tempermental. Either drain the tank, or remove the sender, or drive around with a 10 litre can and run it dry to see if it comes on.
