Hello everyone
I restarted my engine after having completely redone it following an oil pressure problem
changing the crankshaft the piston ring bearings and all the seals and the cylindre head by a late m30b30

when starting the oil indicator light goes out but after having left it running for 2 minutes the indicator light comes on again and it goes out when it accelerates a little then comes on again..

I have 2 oil pressure contacts
one writing 0.05 / 0.15 and one writing 0.2 / 0.5
which one is right for my engine?

I measured the oil pressure with a manometer and it does not even indicate 1 bar of pressure I don’y understand.
I opened the oil filter cover and it empties visibly is this normal? it seems to me that it goes down again through the small hole on the right

yes I rebuilt my engine since because I had destroyed it
I reassembled the original oil filter jar of the m30b35 and I still have no oil pressure
do you think that I have to plug the hole in the block even with the original jar?

hello here are pictures of the oil filter jar
I opened it it was completely dry
I tried with another new bosch oil filter I filled the jar with oil, I restart the engine and it seems to knock for 2 seconds then it stops, at idle (about 600 rpm) the pressure is only 0.2 bar
then when I accelerate a little the pressure rises to 1bar at 1000 rpm
I hope that the crankshaft that I replaced is not defective too ..
it was perfect on the outside, no flaws no scratches
I wanted to do an experiment, it is to plug the small oil return hole in the cavity on the block and test the pressure again

Do you want me to send you a spare pump and filter housing?

Likely the pump valve but I can send both.
Ship on Friday if you want.
Do NOT start the engine.
Period.

thank you very much sfdon
but currently in Guadeloupe we have huge social events and hardly any services are working and I don't know how long it will last
when the situation improves, why not
but i have several other oil pumps in stock, do you think i can restore one? by changing the pistons and spring maybe ?
I also have another oil filter jar in stock, but it seems to drain its oil also from the 3rd port
