is this the same as a 2800 CS but with a 2.5 l engine ???

Well it didn't have the 3.0Cs engine but instead the smaller 2494cc with 150PS

If I'm not mistaken it was a reaction to the 1973 Fuel Crisis in an effort to make a more economical version when it came to fuel consumption.

Apart from the fixed rear windows and the lack of electrical front windows it standard came without over riders on the rear bumper, and all steel wheels with hub cabs. It also had no power assisted steering. The car was never sold in the US nor the UK.

I was referring to it being based on the 3.0 and not the 2800CS.

Should call it a poor man's lightweight. I loved the manual windows on my Bavaria. Manual steering sounds like a plus too.

i do like the manual in the red coupe alot more than the electric in the blue one with problems.....( gearbox is missing some plastic theet .... so a dead spot )
