Hello,
didn't plan to sell it, but want to buy new front sport seats for my e9 project, so for sale is my nice concave Petri 40 steering wheel, made it for myself, but...
Steering wheel & whole set is in good shape, i think 7 of 10 - absolutely no cracks, scratch on right spoke near center ring, some little dots in center part on spokes (pretty standard as in almost any petri), hub splines are perfect, petri bmw horn button emblem have crack in inner part (horn button was repaired), hub cover is nice without damages just some light surface scratches, grip is in very good original condition (no cracks, scratches etc.), very stiff.
Steering wheel, hub cover, center ring, horn button are all genuine Petri, hub was custom made from genuine bmw hub & cast aluminium adapter, set is very solid.
Steering wheel is ready to run, fit perfect e9 steering column (fitted on both versions <74, >74). Horn contact ring blinker canceller can be flipped depending on which side (left or right) you have blinker stalk. Hub also can be fitted with genuine e9 metal blinker canceller (just need to remove plastic canceller).
Payment PayPal.
Price 480 EUR shipped with insured post priority package (without PayPal commission).
Thank you.

p.s. i still think that this 40 is nicer than flat 38:D

Nice looking wheel Wladek and very reasonably priced. I am intrigued by 40cm Petris in E9s. Did they come both flat and dished?

In BMW's only flat. But it's pretty interesting why BMW didn't used dished Petri as alternative for standard E9 dished wheels. Really, that wheel in live look nicer than flat 38 (i think maybe @Markos can confirm it???).

Thanks for the information Wladek. It is a great looking wheel, for sure. I suspect you are not going to own it for very much longer ;)
Cheers!

i really can't believe that i haven't read a SOLD heading on this FS thread. are you guys nuts? i already have a 38 + a 40 ... so i'm not in the market, but this is too good of a deal to pass up - even if you are only casually in the market this is something you buy (at this price) even before you own a coupe as it won't become less valuable

i am so happy to see such a desirable e9 piece such as this sold on this forum ... and most of all, i am really happy that somebody on this forum bought it to use on their coupe. congrats to seller and buyer for keeping it in the family

Thanks for the opportunity Wladek.
A trusted seller made all the difference for me.
I will take good care of it.

Task 1. Get it in the house without my wife realising it is wheel number 5...
Task 2. Finish the car to put it in....

Erik.
