Non Stock Style Air Filters

Since I'm probably not doing a triple weber swap anytime in the next 6 months, but need new air filters, and am craving a tad more induction sound for the time being, does anyone know which K&N style filters will fit on top of the stock Zeniths? Same filters as the Weber 32/36s? I feel a little silly, but the old stock airbox ( plus the little spring valve is seized and rusted), must muffle the sound and potentially the flow quite a bit. Anything to put a bigger smile on my face.
 
K&N filters work well. Contact them for the exact # for stock air filter.
I have been using them for many years in my CS, but not the stock housing.
They aren't cheap. But in a car you will own and drive for a long time are well worth the extra up front cost.

I have used K&N in my motorcycles, diesel trucks, BMW, and Subaru. Always had clean intakes!
 
Pierce Manifolds has some good looking air filters for the Weber DGV 32-36, which also fit the DGAS 38-38. Does anyone have an opinion or better yet real data on the efficiency of the stock system versus the aftermarket filters?
 
I have read before that the stock filter housing draws cold air (vs. underhood air), and also produces a ram effect at speed. I have no idea if either are plausible and/or make a difference, but outwardly, I could see this making sense.

Regarding the warm up valve, you can "fix" that for the price of an old metal screw. Just get it to move enough so that you can hold it closed (from manifold heat), drill small hole through housing and butterfly, and thread in the metal screw to hold it closed.

Do you know if these fit the Zeniths too?
