For those who have retained the (beautiful) original wiper arms on either e3 or e9, the correct inserts from Trico can be found on Amazon at the link below. I formerly bought them over the counter at my local MB dealer but they are NLA from them. I checked with Jim at Mesa and though he didn't have them he referred me to a fellow e3'er who pointed me towards these. This is the 16' version and some arms may be of a different length. The locking tabs on the pair which I received yesterday are redesigned and an improvement over previous sets . They're period correct and do a great job when weather requires.

Cheers,

Jim

Just ordered a pair. Too easy with Amazon Prime. Take your fingers off the keyboard and step back from your laptop.

Thank you for this great information. Ordering some blades now. Does anyone know if the beautiful metal blade holders are available anywhere? My car has some newer black ones connected to original metal wiper arms. I'd love to find some metal blade holders.

Finding good condition blade holders might be a challange and in case you don’t, Chris at cs-Werke has a good repro set made to the same specs as the originals.
