I’m making room for other stuff and it will be a very long while before I can work on this wheel.
Although this wheel will be found listed as an M1 wheel, is *NOT. This is an equally rare 380mm e12 M535i wheel. Perhaps you never noticed but the M1 wheel is 365mm, with noticeably shorter spokes.
Look closely as this wheel is missing the leather. Figure $250-$300 for a good leather job, $175 for an “ok” job. As you may know I am a nut about steering wheel leather quality and can point you in the right direction if desired.
This wheel is nearly 40 years old. If you bend the rubber on the hub cover you can see little cracks open up. The same for the wheel spokes if you are determined to mess with it. Priced accordingly.
It’s not my first choice for a coupe but you will see a wheel like this in the 3.8 CSI belonging to @paul cain, and a few others.
I’m open to shipping outside of the US but it extra shipping charges will apply. Likely no more than $25.
