Usually the cap comes off and then the female ends pull out. You can put it back together and glue it. Short of that, use the other side as a guide and just plug each alone and then electrical tape. Hopefully someone has one, I recall another member needing one and someone came up with one.

Thanks a lot for the reply, let's see if anyone has the socket. I need 2 for both rear windows. I will need the wiring diagram as a guide.
The socket in the rear armrest will fall back into the armrest if that is your issue.
No, I am looking for the sockets that the switches fit into as they are missing somehow as I am restoring my e9.

I know exactly what you are talking about. You are missing the plastic block that holds all those together. The bottom usually falls off, all those connections drop out since they are not pressure fitted in any way. That is what you have. Go to the other window and use it as a guide to see where each of these female spades fit in. Then electrical tape and drop in the armrest hole. Did you pull the armrest to make sure the plastic block just did not fall off and is lying there?

My problem is that I am restoring my car for the last 4 years and they must have fallen off when the car was brought to bare metal. The other issue I have is the both sides are missing and hence I can't use the other side as a guide.

I do not have the art you're looking for unfortunately.
fyi, it may help your search: the block is looking like this (sorry for low resolution pics, these are zoomed from large picture):

But even if you get the two plastic blocks, you need to know which pin goes to which wire.
So that bit of info is more crucial then the plastic part.

The factory wiring diagram has PIN numbers with each switch and the corresponding wire color so that part is easy. I wrote them down years ago and now can’t find them. Mercedes also used these plug receptacles.

Hi Chris,
That will be very helpful. Please try to find them.
Best Regard,
Hussein

I actually have some of these I harvested from a parts car for an E12 customer but he has since disappeared.

Sorry for hijacking the thread but if the OP found what he is looking for, I can also use one of these to replace a crumbled one.
