Cool!
So how is a "regularity rally" different than a "normal" WRC style rally? I imagine the main difference is the speed and therefore safety requirements, right?

Bo , the difference is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ :D

Indeed , not to compare with WRC rallys :

- we don't "race" but have to aim at a given average speed . To quick is dubbel penalty points compared as to slow..
- track is unknow , given in all kinds of map navigation ... in rally all is exercised in advance , the pilot almost knows every turn , the copilot confirms his view by reading notes they made them self .
- we have no extra safety requirements.... the car must be road legal , that's all.
- in fact , all we really need is a Terratrip and extra lights.
- ofcourse many of our cars are ex-rally cars or copys ....with ex rally drivers .
- in rally the main is speed , in regularity navigation and time schedule
- sometimes there is a younsters class , but mostly cars must be 25 years old

i did rally when is was 25..30 years old ... now at +60 that wouldn't be obvious anymore...
