Buddy bought one a few months ago but it's still getting worked on. Parts are difficult to get and there are some very "French" things that need specific knowledge. There aren't many people that know them well.

There’s a shop that services them in phoenix and they’re up to speed on them. Definitely my top 5. I visited a car collection in Torrance a few years back, and the shop manager had 5 of them in one bay, his personal collection (yes 5 of them) all in red.

I don’t remember where he was, I know it was by the airport.

I have been looking for a few years, traveled to see some in France and Canada, but have not yet pulled the trigger on one.

Are you actively searching for one Rex?

Not me, but my family had a couple of Renault 4L's. Does that help?
We had the 3-speed French version, and the 4-speed Argentine version.

Aparantly that car came out of the GM museum and is a 1-off. My tenant repairs exotics (which comes in handy) although he hits me up for the vintage stuff...anyway, he brought me over and showed me this thing... I forgot it was a PUG, all those French cars look the same :)

They are very good ...

... as long you have French Factory Service Team waiting for you after race with bunch of unique parts for exchange.

The good is, thanks to 3D printers, CNC, MIG/MAG in resonable prices around the sky is the limit and you can be better than factory team in the end.

It is Worldwide exotic car.
