I am getting the front seats redone on my 73 CS. The recline adjustment (I'll call it a track rod) rod-like piece, related to adjusting the seat back recline position, is broken on one of the seats. See attached picture which shows the broken one next to the good one. It is kind of like a rod but is actually a tightly wound spring approximately 20 inches long. It is what connects to the inside of the seat adjustment nob that you twist to change the recline angle of the seat. The rod like spring connects the left hand side of the seat back to the right hand side so that when you twist that nob it is adjusting both sides of the seat back. I don't know if the piece is common to a Coupe and Bavaria.
