Anyone here own this car? A buddy took some pics this past Sunday at a local Cars & Coffee but failed to note the VIN.

Sports an S38 and clearly much has been spent, hope to see it in person next time.

IMO, all signs point to a nice tribute. Steel hood, hood latches, torsion bar mount, unoriginal prop, power windows, AC, foam Petri.

I’m not a fan of the 17” closed lug Alpinas, but otherwise it looks amazing!

Personally, I wouldn’t badge a tribute car a CSL, and wouldn’t refer to my tribute car as a CSL (which happens even in this forum).

Russ--The owner of this CSL Tribute is an airline pilot named Dan. His wife and adult son enjoy driving the car to C&C's. They have taken it to the FuelFed C&C the last Sunday of the month in Ft. Lauderdale a few times. The color is dark black/blue with blue metallic,a modern BMW color. I told him about the forum, but he has not joined.
His son is restoring an Isetta.
