I’m surprised this one doesn’t exist yet. There are many clever license plates on the forum so it would be fun to gather them in one place.

For mine, I started thinking about it a good while back. Then, two years ago, after the last of our kids left for college, we thought it was time to embark on a new adventure. We packed our bags and decided to ...

Here are the Vanity Plates on 7 of our 8 BMWs, have had the IMPRESV plate in PA, CT & ME.

My Grandfather Franklin Pierce Adams known as FPA was at a poker game with the Chief of Police in Weston CT and won. Instead of having the Chief pay up, he asked for a special license plate with only FPA on it. The Police Chief obliged and had 2 sets of hand made plates FPA 1 & FPA 2. These were the first vanity plates in Connecticut. This is paraphrased family lore and documented in FPA by Sally Ashley.

I went for the historic 1973 Arizona "Grand Canyon State" plate, then registered the sequence.
For the E28, I've got the Euro plate that's the same sequence as my historic AZ plate.
The E30 and E31 have their own chassis code plates, as it makes the insurance forms more simple.
