This is not a what's it worth thread, I haven't even got that far. Whilst digging around in my stash of old parts, looking for gaskets and seals for a forum member doing some engine work, I re-found some mystery parts. These were all purchased by me as part of a garage clearance sale about 10 years back. The garage was a classic BMW specialist and 99% of the parts I recognise as being E9 parts (engine seals, gaskets, other consumables), however a few random Renault and Mitsubishi parts were mixed in there too! So these may also be random interlopers...

But any help identifying this lot would be most welcome

The follow on question is of course, are they hugely rare and so can I sell them to someone for £1m a pop?
;)

I see fuel pump insulators but they have some kind of bulge on the back?

Thanks Chris, yes I see it is a fuel pump spacer/ insulator. Like this from W&N

I don't know what the nozzle like addition is for though. I googled the part no. and I found one other image of the part with this extra bit, but no info.

Has anyone got any suggestions re the plates withe the holes and grooves? I was wondering if they were something to do with a four barrel carb?! Was any E9 ever fitted with such a thing? Doubt it, but the chap I bought the parts from did indicate some race car parts were in the hoard, which I interpreted (perhaps optimistically) as meaning racing CSLs.

thanks Barry, found info on a 4-barrel carb manifold, which does look to have the same dimensions and layout as my odd parts. Not as esoteric as I was hoping for! Sounds like some E12 and E23 cars came with a 4-barrel Solex carb
