Some assistance required. I have come to assemble the (now manual) steering/box on my e12 and the steering box lever arm i used clashes with my cross member. It came from a power steering box. I had a spare manual steering box complete with arm - a different type. The first was straight, and this alternative is curved/banana shaped. The curved arm works, good clearance, no clashes etc, but does require the bush on the pitman arm reversing (turning upside down) so that the arm is located towards the top of the bracket on the cross member.

I have tried to determine what the part number is for the curved steering box lever arm, i have seen them on e9's (my e9 when it had power steering and now manual uses the straight type lever arm) but can only find part numbers for the straight arm.

The reason behind this, i need to replace my arm - as i was assembling, i realised that someone had cut a chunk out of the end where the tapered stud goes through! (no doubt to remove). I have had a good look at internet images and find very limited pictures of the curved type lever arm.
