sunroof question

I havent looked at it lately
yet wanted to ask about the raising of the sunroof at the end of its travel.
when i put it back together, it wont rise up into place.
thinking of the mechanics - the roof has the two plastic risers that hit something that
brings it up.
what it that detail that does it
it seems there must be something alongside the rail path as in the path the runner would it it
any info would be helpful.

Alan, from memory you have electric sunroof ?( mine is manual ) so not sure of differences ( if any ) in respect of mechanisms . In the first instance perhaps look at the the parts manual pages 54/1, 54/2 and 54/3 as it may assist in showing orientation of the small brackets etc ....I think that my sunroof had sliding /tilting issues and it seems the brackets were initially installed around the wrong way ( now works fine ) .
