I thought I would share how I adapted some e28 door brakes to fit our beloved e9's. Besides the door brake from any of the 4 doors from an e28 you will need a drill and a nut and bolt, maybe a couple washers. These things work great, they have 2 stops and allow the door to open all the way without damaging anything- I ask you- who's the hack ?
