Huge amounts of BMWs. A 2002 and an E24 as well. A couple of M cars in the mix too. Some with water line marks at the floor level. Some start and drive. Unfortunately, all flood cars in Texas are sold with titles that specify they can only be used as parts or for scrap. I suppose that a title shuffle through other states might get you a clean title, certainly it's happened in the past, but it's frowned on.

Thinking about it, I'll bet that the cars with low water lines, (it's marked on the sides with china marker) especially the ones that start and drive will be bought and shipped overseas where the Texas Flood Title will be meaningless. There are many brokers that specialize in overseas shipment and there is quite a market overseas for used BMWs. So for those of you in other states who may not be impacted by the branding of the title by Texas as a 'parts only' vehicle will be bidding against professional buyers who see a lot of upside to these barely totaled cars.

Good luck.
