The new aluminum head bolts torque lesson

How the world has changed- the new bolts are incredibly light. Dealer instruction yesterday- torque to Nm. Then angle torque.
And then the real instructions- don’t use angle tool, close eyes and torque til you feel the bolt start stretching. Now you are done.

Yeah, like the aluminum block in the One series that develops oil pan leaks at 70k and has to have the bolts and gasket changed. Really??

My fav is magnesium valve cover to aluminum head to iron block- have you seen the gasket?
