there are 2 similar trims - one goes where Don has suggested, the other goes at the juncture between the kick panel and the front edge of the front door ... so in short, they go at both edges of the front door.

I see that Jahan's part has some half circle cut outs. If im not mistaking, those cutouts are not present in the front lower A pillar trim. In my memmory the fronts are also shorter.
I'm leaning towards the rear, as in Don's pics.
